That’s why we don’t offer traditional ski holidays based around resort skiing – our trips are designed for those who want to explore beyond the ordinary. Together with a certified mountain guide and a small group of skiers sharing the same goal, we explore the best runs and snow of the day, always taking current conditions into account with safety as our highest priority. Ski Mountaineering Chamonix

Come along for an experience out of the ordinary and take your skiing adventure to the next level where you will learn the skills required to tackle the entire mountain. During this week the focus is on you gaining skills for more advanced summit tours such as handling crampons and ice axe, building anchors, celebrating and learning how to navigate across glaciers. We will also practice ski technique for steeper rides and make ascents of several fine peaks in the Alps.

Valleé Blanche

The Vallée Blanche is the classic run from the Aiguille du Midi 3842 m down to Chamonix. 2000 meters of altitude and 20 km of skiing in a magnificent setting on a glacier make it one of the most spectacular rides you can do. Swing between glacier crevasses and seracs and slide down to the Montenvers train station that will take you back to the village and a cold drink at an outdoor terrace overlooking the mountains you just skied down.

Hokkaido is the northern island of Japan, thanks to cold winds from Siberia and northern China, there are incredible amounts of snow every winter. Statistics show that it snows around 15 meters per season.

Winter in the summer time!
South America, is something quite different. Since it is loacated in the southern hemisphere it's winter when we have summer. Add to this the Andes mountain range which runs along South America's Pacific coast, through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina and ends in the far south of Cape Horn. In total it's 7500 km long, making it the world's longest mountain range.

Off-piste skiing on La Meije in La Grave, France

One mountain, one lift, no piste. The mountain is called La Meije, pronounced "La Mesh" and offers incredible skiing opportunities with fields, big glaciers, forest and steep corridors. The first time you go up with the old gondola you might think that the lift is slow. But truth be told, it's a long way to the top. Just relax, enjoy the scenery and prepare for the biggest off-piste descent in the Alps.

The ultimate off-piste skiing challenge begins in La Grave. There's one big mountain with one lift on the border to a national park.

Off-piste skiing in Iran – a different experience

There are two mountain chains in Iran, the Alborz Mountains and the Zagros Mountains. Our trips go to the Alborz Mountains offering many peaks over 4000 meters. The highest lift goes up to 3960 meters and offers a vertical from 1000 to 2000 meters.
As if this wasn't enough, the terrain is excellent for ski touring and by doing short hikes from the top of the lift we can reach amazing skiing.

Ski touring course Chamonix

Ski tours on skis are the wonderful combination of the views and tranquility of mountain hiking, together with the action of downhill skiing.

The knowledge required to go on ski tours in a smooth and safe way is in itself very extensive and we need both personal skills in skiing, general knowledge in navigation and route selection as well as specific knowledge in, for example, knowledge of avalanches. In short – there is a lot of fun to be learned in this course. We spend a week deepening our knowledge.

The goal of the week is for you to learn more about top tours and at the same time have incredible experiences in magnificent surroundings.

The location for this course week is in the Chamonix area of the Alps.

Haute Route Silvretta

Haute Route means the high road and on this trip we head to Austria for the Silvretta Haute Route. The tour begins in Ischgl where we take the lift up and traverse the entire ski system and soon find ourselves among endless peaks and valleys.
