Ski Touring at Senja, Norway

Ski touring Senja 2023

Senja, Norway's second largest and most forgotten island? Senja is located right in between the more classic destinations Lofoten and Tromsö. Due to this it somehow disapers and we think that's a waist. Such a magical place that offers such good riding? We have to take advantage of that and go explore!

Senja is the hidden treasure of the North. With views over the Atlantic Ocean and the fjord, we'll find peaks between 600-1100 MSL. The tours more or less always start right by sea level, so the runs are usually longer than you would expect. If you're not satisfied with one tour we can always do 2,3 or 4 more. The only limit is the daylight and your strength

The privileges with Senja is that it's a very few amount of common ski tourers. It's rare to see other people or even tracks. The other thing is the variation of the riding. There's large open snow fields, narrow steep crevasses, sparse forest runs and my favorite.. There's no such thing as an approach.

Come join us on this exhibition! Senja is the Island with all the opportunity.
