Our freeride trips
Our freerides are trips with off-piste skiing in some of the world's best ski resorts. We always have access to a minibus during the trip to be able to explore nearby areas in the jacket on powder.
Mountain guides
An authorized mountain guide is with you every day of the week. The mountain guide is not only responsible for safety, but always looks for the best snow conditions for you. All guides who work for Mountain Guide Travel are trained and examined by UIAGM/IFMGA.
Previous knowledge
You should be at least an intermediate skier and have experience in off-piste skiing to enjoy a trip to Verbier. We divide the skiers into groups according to prior knowledge so that everyone gets the most out of the skiing. If you have no experience at all in off-piste skiing, this is not the right trip for you. We then recommend a week with an introduction to off-piste.
Avalanche and safety equipment
The mountain guide provides everyone in the group with avalanche equipment and equipment for going on the glacier (harnesses and carabiners). The mountain guide has ropes, ice screws, slings and other things needed for skiing on glaciers and abseils. All safety equipment is included in the price.
