Welcome to heli-ski in Riksgränsen!
We are situated 200 km north of the Arctic Circle in Lapland, Sweden – the land of the midnight sun. From the ski resort Riksgränsen we offer heli-skiing in the true wilderness of Swedish Lapland. We have a total heli-ski area of 5 000 square km, with more than a hundred peaks.

Heli-skiing in Sweden
Using the helicopter as your private lift and a certified mountain guide to find the best snow, we offer a premium ski experience. The mountains in the area close to Riksgränsen offer 700-1000 meters vertical and, if you fly in to the more remote areas of Mårma and Kebnekaise, you get up to 1500 meters vertical.

Heli ski area
Our heli ski area extends about 300 km from east to west and some 200 km from north to south. That makes about 60 000 square km. This area has more than a hundred peaks, all covered in snow, just waiting for you. This is the largest wilderness area in Europe and the environment for a unique experience.

Season 2024
Heliski Riksgränsen is running every day from Friday the 8th of March to the 26nd of May.

Experience
The terrain ranges from easy to challenging. Close to Riksgränsen we have skiing suitable for red and black run skiers. If you want to join us for the more remote areas like Kåtotjocka/Mårma or Kebnekaise, you need to have prior off piste-skiing experience.

Safety
We have the highest level of security in terms of skiing and helicopter transport. All skiers in the group will be provided with an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. All our guides are certified UIAGM/IFMGA mountain guides. For flight safety reasons names and contact details for all participants must be stated in the booking.

Group size
5 skiers/guide max. 

Personal equipment
Besides normal skiing equipment, it is recommended to bring a hat and ski goggles. There can be a lot of snow flying up from the helicopter wash.

Snowboarers are welcome
Because the runs are in a big way due to fall line and we will be picked up where the slope ends it is possible to mix skiers and snowboarders in the group without anyone having to wait.

Your heli-ski meeting time
We start every day at 8.30 

More information about your meeting time will be given the day before from us.
All groups meet by our heli-ski office in the lobby at Hotel Riksgränsen.

Age limit
Our age limit for heli-ski is 18 years. If skiing with parents it's 12 years. Exceptions can be made if you are a family/group of 4, so that we can adjust the ride to your level. Please let us know the age of the children who will participate in heli-skiing.

Booking and payment
You add your booking on your wanted date and fill en the form. I'll recieve an booking-confirm on your e-mail directly included payment details.

20% of the amount is an booking fee and will not be returned if we due weather need to cancel.
